HEARTHLINE
A long outdoor table set with wood-fired trout, vegetables, bread, and shared plates at sunset

A fictional restaurant in Durham Region

Let the fire
set the table.

Ontario ingredients, bright ideas, and an open hearth. Come hungry. Leave a little later than planned.

01 / Our story

A little wild.
Very welcoming.

Hearthline is an imagined neighbourhood restaurant where Durham farmland meets the lake. The kitchen follows the seasons, cooks over flame, and sends every plate out ready to share.

Expect familiar ingredients with a spark: carrots blistered over maple, trout lifted by garden herbs, and cake that arrives with more strawberries than good sense.

Hand-drawn garland of trout, pears, tomatoes, wildflowers, flame, and carrots

02 / From the hearth

Three dishes.
One good argument for seconds.

04 / The room

Come for dinner.
Stay for the glow.

Date nights, loud birthdays, quiet Wednesdays, and the kind of dinner where everybody orders one more plate. The hearth is always in view and the room is built for lingering.
